Job Description

Pioneer Veterinary Services is looking for a dedicated Veterinarian. You will handle a variety of responsibilities including diagnosing ailments, performing surgeries, and working closely with animal owners to ensure optimal health for large creatures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine wellness examinations on large animals.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret laboratory results.
• Prescribe medications and necessary follow-up care.
• Work with a team to develop and implement health care plans.
• Conduct post-operative care and monitoring.
• Educate clients on health management and preventive measures.
• Advise on the management of specific breeds and species.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Mentor interns and junior veterinary staff.
• Attend veterinary conferences for continuous professional development.

Requirements

Education

• DVM from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school

Experience

• Experience in mixed animal practices is a plus.
