Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to work with preschool children with disabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), creating engaging curriculum and instruction, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized teaching strategies based on IEP goals.
  • Create an engaging and adaptive curriculum to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Foster a supportive environment that encourages communication and self-expression.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and modify instruction as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support services.
  • Train and supervise teacher assistants and support staff.
  • Organize family engagement meetings to discuss student development and strategies.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote awareness of special education needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Master's degree in Special Education or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in special education or preschool education.

  • First Aid and CPR Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent
