Job Description

We are looking for passionate Special Education Teachers to join our kindergarten team. In this role, you will work closely with young students who have developmental delays and implement individualized educational plans to promote their learning and growth. Your dedication and skills will provide the support these children need to thrive in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess student learning and development through formal and informal evaluations.
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in educational strategies at home and at school.
  • Integrate assistive technology and resources into classroom activities.
  • Create a nurturing classroom culture that encourages self-esteem and independence.
  • Monitor and document progress toward IEP goals for each student.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
  • Design and implement curriculum modifications as needed.
  • Establish a safe learning environment conducive to all students.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in special education, specifically with young children
Technical Skills
  • Individualized Education Planning (IEP)

Certifications

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous
