Job Description

As a Certified Driver Examiner (CDE), you will conduct driving tests and evaluate candidates' driving skills, ensuring compliance with all driving regulations. Your role is crucial in maintaining road safety and educating new drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct written exams to assess knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure all testing materials and environments meet safety standards.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
  • Engage in continuing education to enhance examination skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor compliance with legal and organizational testing requirements.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss candidate evaluations and improve testing protocols.
  • Foster a supportive environment for applicants, providing guidance as needed.
  • Advise on improvements in driving regulations based on observed applicant performance.
  • Manage logistical elements of conducting driving tests, including scheduling.
  • Represent the organization at local driving standards meetings.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a Driver Examiner from a recognized authority
Experience
  • Previous experience in conducting driving tests or related field is preferred.
