We are looking for a creative Basket Maker to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to design and craft beautiful baskets from various materials including wood, reeds, and more, showcasing their artistic skills while ensuring high-quality production.

Responsibilities

• Design intricate baskets that meet customer specifications and preferences.
• Select appropriate materials based on durability and design aesthetics.
• Use traditional and modern weaving techniques to create high-quality baskets.
• Maintain detailed records of materials used and finished products.
• Work closely with the production manager to ensure deadlines are met.
• Incorporate feedback from clients into future designs.
• Assist in the training of new team members on basket-making techniques.
• Participate in community events to promote handcrafted baskets.
• Develop new techniques for improving quality and efficiency in production.
• Contribute to team brainstorming sessions for new product ideas.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• Previous experience with basket-making or a similar craft is a strong advantage.
