Job Description

Join our dedicated team in Portland as a Nurse Practitioner, where you will provide high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, while also educating them on their health conditions and prevention methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine check-ups and preventive care.
• Manage medication prescriptions and adjustments.
• Assess patients’ responses to treatments and medications.
• Foster relationships with patients and encourage open communication.
• Implement best practices for patient safety and quality care.
• Participate in case reviews and clinical meetings.
• Assist in patient triage as needed.
• Address patient concerns and provide support.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

Education

• DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) is preferred
• Certification in a specialty area is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in primary care or specialty care

Technical Skills

• Pharmacology

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS)
• Advanced Certification in a Specialty Area

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual skills: Ability to communicate in Spanish or another language is a plus.
• Telehealth experience: Familiarity with delivering healthcare services via telemedicine.
