Job Description

We are seeking passionate Cardiovascular Technologists and Technicians to join our healthcare team. You will be key in conducting diagnostic procedures to monitor heart health, ensuring accurate interpretations and reports that support optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic electrocardiogram (ECG) tests with precision.
• Collect and document patient data accurately, ensuring thorough health records.
• Position patients appropriately for optimal test results.
• Analyze ECG results and prepare clear reports for medical review.
• Regularly maintain and calibrate ECG equipment for accuracy.
• Safeguard patient confidentiality and data protection.
• Manage inventory of supplies and assist in restocking as needed.
• Work closely with physicians and nurses to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Provide empathetic support to patients during procedures.
• Follow established safety and infection control measures diligently.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited electrocardiographic technician program preferred

Experience

• Prior experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Technician is preferred but not required.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Electrocardiographic Technician Certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Holter Monitoring: Understanding of Holter monitors and ability to conduct tests.
• Knowledge of Cardiac Arrhythmias: Ability to identify and report on various cardiac arrhythmias.
