We are seeking a Shellfish Farming Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our shellfish farm. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of shellfish farming practices. Your role will involve managing a team, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and maintaining high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and coordinate the workload of shellfish farm staff.
• Implement efficient farming techniques, manage crop cycles, and ensure product quality.
• Conduct regular inspections of shellfish and environmental conditions, addressing any issues promptly.
• Manage maintenance of farm equipment and infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency.
• Prepare and submit reports on production data and compliance with industry standards.
• Engage with external agencies for regulatory compliance and sustainability initiatives.
• Facilitate team meetings to communicate goals and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, Agriculture, or related field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in shellfish farming or a related field.
