Job Description

As a Grader Tender at ABC Food Processing Inc., you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining our grading equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective sorting and processing of agricultural products, guaranteeing they meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the physical stamina to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate grading machines before production runs.
• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to improve output.
• Inspect products regularly to identify defects or issues.
• Document maintenance activities and report any irregularities.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in inventory management and organization of materials.
• Work closely with quality control to ensure product integrity.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the production process.
• Support other departments as needed during peak production times.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in grading or food processing preferred

Technical Skills

• Mechanical Aptitude
• Data Recording Software

• Physical Stamina
• Problem-Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to operate additional machinery: Familiarity with operating related equipment to enhance job performance.
• Previous supervisory experience: Experience in a lead or supervisory role within food processing.
