Industrial Machinery Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Machinery Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing various types of industrial machinery, ensuring optimal performance in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Effectively maintain and repair welding, brazing, and burning machines.
• Train maintenance staff on proper equipment handling and troubleshooting.
• Identify areas for improvement in machinery to enhance productivity.
• Oversee the implementation of preventative maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize machine downtime.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an associate's or bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role.

Technical Skills

• Electrical maintenance
• Hydraulics and pneumatics

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in project management: Ability to manage small projects and lead maintenance initiatives.
• Certifications in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
