Job Description

As a Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Setter, Operator, or Tender, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the application of high-quality coatings to protect steel and iron products from corrosion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steel products for hot-dip galvanizing, including cleaning and degreasing.
• Operate and control the hot-dip galvanizing process according to established guidelines.
• Monitor the quality of the galvanized coating to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance on hot-dip galvanizing equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document production data and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of the equipment and workspace.
• Ensure proper inventory of materials and supplies needed for operation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in hot-dip galvanizing is preferred but not mandatory

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in hot-dip galvanizing or a similar role

• Hot-dip galvanizing techniques
