Job Description

As a Pharmacy Informaticist at Health Solutions Inc., you'll play a pivotal role in managing pharmacy information systems. You'll work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize medication management and improve patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pharmacy and IT teams to develop informatics solutions for medication management.
• Analyze pharmacy data for opportunities to enhance patient safety and cost efficiency.
• Conduct research on emerging pharmacy technologies.
• Participate in the selection and configuration of pharmacy information systems.
• Develop training programs for pharmacy staff on informatics systems.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and FDA guidelines.
• Integrate pharmacy informatics with existing healthcare systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of pharmacy informatics standards.
• Perform audits to ensure optimal functionality of pharmacy systems.
• Facilitate communication between pharmacy departments and IT.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Advanced degree in Healthcare Informatics preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in pharmacy practice or informatics, with a focus on IT integration
