Job Description

As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting elderly residents with daily living activities, medication management, and emotional support. Your compassionate care will significantly enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate care to elderly residents while respecting their dignity and preferences.
  • Track daily health reports and communicate findings to the supervising nurse.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills.
  • Maintain an organized record of patient care to ensure compliance.
  • Assist residents in attending appointments and social outings.
  • Encourage and assist residents to engage in physical activities.
  • Be available to respond to residents’ concerns and needs quickly.
  • Adhere to all safety and health standards in the delivery of care.
  • Support fellow team members in providing high-quality service.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) or home health aide (HHA) is required
Experience
  • Experience with elderly or disabled individuals is required.

  • Mobility assistance training
