Mechanical Drafters

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Drafter to join our innovative design team. The perfect candidate will play a vital role in translating design concepts into precise technical drawings, ensuring that they meet functional, aesthetic, and safety standards. With strong communication skills and a flair for creativity, you will collaborate closely with engineers and designers to produce compelling designs.

Responsibilities

• Generate 2D and 3D CAD models from sketches.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility of designs.
• Implement design modifications and iterations.
• Review and ensure accuracy of technical documentation.
• Attend design review meetings and actively contribute ideas.
• Document any changes in design procedures and standards.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for project proposals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Certification in CAD software is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical drafting or related role.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in CAD software

Soft Skills

• Organizational skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with design software such as Rhino or SketchUp: Experience with Rhino or SketchUp for advanced design work.
