Job Description

Join our manufacturing team as an Industrial Engineering Technologist or Technician. You will operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring adherence to safety protocols while maintaining quality standards. This role requires a proactive approach and a commitment to teamwork and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate and set up machinery and equipment.
• Document production processes and machine adjustments.
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure products meet specifications.
• Facilitate communication with the production team to enhance workflow.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency.
• Assist in training new employees on machinery operation.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety and operational standards.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production results and strategies.
• Troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.

Requirements

Education

• Associate degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Operation of machine control systems
• Use of measuring instruments

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles: Understanding of waste reduction and process improvement techniques.
