City Weighmaster

Job Description

The City Weighmaster will be responsible for ensuring the accurate weighing of goods and materials in compliance with city and state regulations. You will be tasked with maintaining precise records of all weighing transactions and ensuring the proper functioning of weighing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh goods and materials while adhering to safety standards.
• Document and maintain all records of transactions and equipment use.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with weighing equipment.
• Provide training to new staff on weighing procedures and techniques.
• Communicate with clients about weighing processes and standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for compliance audits.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Weighmaster License preferred

Experience

• Preferred experience in a customer service role.

Technical Skills

• Electronic weighing equipment experience
• Data entry proficiency

Soft Skills

• Multitasking ability
• Interpersonal skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Customer service experience: Prior experience in dealing with clients and providing assistance.
