Job Description

As a Layout Worker specializing in metal and plastic, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing designs for propellers in various industries. Your role includes collaboration with engineers to ensure that designs meet all required specifications and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and schematics to create effective layouts.
• Use simulation tools to predict performance outcomes.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to deliver projects timely.
• Document process changes and improvements.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues during production.
• Monitor quality of materials and processes.
• Help train junior layout workers in design practices.
• Engage in continuous learning to enhance design skills.
• Participate in compliance audits related to manufacturing standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in design and fabrication

Technical Skills

• Advanced CAD Software (SolidWorks, CATIA)
• Project Management Tools (Jira, Trello)

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
