Job Description

As a Logging Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of logging machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and skidders. You will be responsible for retrieving logs from designated forest areas and ensuring their safe transport to processing facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operation of logging machinery to ensure efficient retrieval of logs.
  • Perform daily safety checks and maintenance on equipment.
  • Collaborate with forestry teams to achieve operational objectives.
  • Document daily operations and maintenance activities.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
  • Conduct safety training sessions for new team members.
  • Monitor environmental regulations compliance during logging activities.
  • Assist in planning extraction routes for efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
