Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by operating machinery to handle wood products. Your responsibilities will include managing and processing raw wood materials to ensure high quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machinery for different cutting and shaping tasks.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure the final product meets specifications.
• Monitor machinery performance and report any issues to supervisors.
• Support the loading and unloading of raw and finished products.
• Maintain a tidy work area and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training new staff on equipment operation.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field

Technical Skills

• Experience with CNC machines
• Knowledge of safety protocols

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with safety equipment: Knowledge of personal protective equipment and safety measures.
• Experience with troubleshooting machines: Ability to identify and resolve equipment issues effectively.
