Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Sailing Instructor to provide engaging sailing lessons for individuals and groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sailing techniques, safety protocols, and an ability to connect with students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sailing workshops and skill enhancement classes.
• Create a fun and safe learning environment for all participants.
• Monitor and adjust lesson plans to cater to the unique needs of various students.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain first aid kits.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new sailing programs.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions regularly.
• Document student progress and report to the Head Instructor.
• Engage with participants on a personal level to foster a love for sailing.
• Ensure compliance with local maritime laws and safety guidelines.
• Encourage teamwork and camaraderie among students during lessons.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
• Advanced sailing certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3 years of experience in sailing instruction and event leadership
