Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse (PMH Nurse) to join our team. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with mental health disorders, providing them with comprehensive care and support to enhance their overall wellbeing. Your responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluations and diagnostics.
• Deliver pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
• Coordinate with therapists and other professionals for holistic patient care.
• Facilitate family involvement and support in treatment processes.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and accurately.
• Provide mental health education to community groups and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on mental health policies and changes in regulations.
• Engage in crisis intervention methods when required.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Mental Health

Experience

• 2+ years of related nursing experience

Technical Skills

• Treatment Planning
• Group Therapy Facilitation

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
