Job Description

As a Heat Treating Equipment Setter, Operator, and Tender, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining coating equipment on our production line. This role requires vigilance in monitoring quality standards, ensuring proper coating application, and performing routine maintenance to keep machinery in top shape.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and adjust machinery settings for optimal performance.
• Conduct inspections of completed products for quality assurance.
• Use basic mechanical tools to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Assist in inventory management of coating materials.
• Offer suggestions for equipment upgrades and process modifications.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in cross-training employees in various roles within the production team.
• Ensure compliance with environmental protocols during operations.
• Record incidents and suggest solutions to improve workplace safety.
• Help maintain a positive team environment through collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in coating or related field is a plus

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in heat treating or coating processes

Technical Skills

• Operational knowledge of heat treating machines
• Quality control techniques

Soft Skills

• Strong team collaboration
• Time management skills

Certifications

• Forklift Certification
• Hazardous Material Handling Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with troubleshooting coating equipment: Ability to quickly identify and resolve machinery-related issues.
