Job Description

As a Meter Inspector, you will be tasked with inspecting and maintaining meters used in various utilities. You will ensure accurate meter readings, troubleshoot issues, and perform essential routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate meters based on established standards.
• Collaborate with the Metering Supervisor to address concerns.
• Utilize handheld devices for meter readings.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in meter inspection or a related field preferred

Technical Skills

• Ability to use specialized metering tools and equipment
• Knowledge of relevant metering protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3)

Soft Skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good physical stamina

Certifications

• Certifications in metering or related field

Languages

• English: Fluent
