Job Description

We are seeking a detailed-oriented Customs Broker / Import/Export Specialist to manage the import and export operations of our client’s goods and materials. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulations, build relationships with customs brokers, and oversee the smooth flow of goods across borders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all logistics concerning import/export documentation.
• Assist in creating effective import/export strategies to optimize shipping costs.
• Engage with government agencies regarding compliance issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with shipping companies and clients.
• Analyze trade data to prepare reports and forecasts.
• Coordinate training for team members on customs regulations.
• Implement technology-driven solutions for logistics operations.
• Prepare, review, and submit all necessary paperwork for imports and exports.
• Monitor changes in trade regulations and update processes accordingly.
• Collaborate with the sales department to align logistics with business goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade or Logistics
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• Extensive experience in customs compliance and regulations
