Job Description

As a Rope Cleaner, you will be integral to our maintenance team, responsible for keeping ropes, harnesses, and climbing equipment in optimal condition. This role involves regular inspections and cleaning of equipment to ensure safety and reliability across various projects in industries such as construction and entertainment. You will work closely with other technicians and staff to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of climbing equipment and report damages.
• Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and tools.
• Ensure all ropes and harnesses are clean and free from contaminants.
• Follow all safety protocols while conducting maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with facility staff to enhance cleaning efficiency.
• Provide assistance during safety checks and audits.
• Identify and escalate concerns regarding equipment integrity.
• Participate in routine team meetings and training sessions.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to organizational policies and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid certifications in rope access techniques (e.g., SPRAT, IRATA) preferred

Experience

• Experience working in challenging environments and at heights.
