Job Description

The Pole Framer will be responsible for constructing wooden poles used across various industries including electricity, telecommunications, and transportation. The preferred candidate should have a solid background in carpentry, along with hands-on experience using both hand and power tools. Safety compliance and teamwork are crucial components of this role.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints to determine pole specifications.
• Mark and measure materials accurately for cutting.
• Utilize various tools for cutting and assembling wood.
• Preserve wooden structures against decay and insects.
• Work collectively with teams to ensure project efficiency.
• Perform quality assurance checks throughout the construction process.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure that workspaces are clean and orderly.
• Assist in training new team members.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of apprenticeship program in carpentry or construction

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in relevant fields

Technical Skills

• Heavy Machinery Operation
• Wood Treatment Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Adaptability

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
