Job Description

As an Organ Builder at Artisan Organ Builders, you will design, construct, and repair custom organs for a variety of venues. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of organ mechanics and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans for organ constructions.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on existing organs.
• Identify components needed for repairs or new builds.
• Document all project phases for client records.
• Conduct sound tests on completed organs for quality assurance.
• Participate in workshops for skills enhancement.
• Liaise with suppliers for materials and parts procurement.
• Incorporate client feedback into the design process.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards.
• Train junior staff on organ construction techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in organ construction and repair
