Responsibilities

• Verify and validate prescriptions for accuracy.
• Educate patients regarding proper medication usage and potential side effects.
• Assure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Engage in health promotion activities in the community.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
• Support the pharmacy team in daily operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
• Participate in training and development of pharmacy staff.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
• Advanced certification in a specialized practice area is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in retail or clinical pharmacy

Certifications

• Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)
• Immunization Certification is a plus

Languages
