Job Description

We are in search of a detail-oriented Huller to join our dynamic seed processing team. This role requires expertise in operating specialized machinery to efficiently remove hulls from various grains, seeds, or nuts. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and will play an essential role in maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate hulling machinery to process a variety of seeds.
• Perform routine checks and adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Identify and rectify any equipment issues to sustain production flow.
• Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of hulling machinery.
• Accurate measurement of ingredients to ensure quality control.
• Grade and sort hulls according to size and quality specifications.
• Prepare hulls for distribution by packaging and labeling correctly.
• Uphold workplace cleanliness and safety standards.
• Work closely with the production team to drive productivity.
• Attend regular safety and operational meetings.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience as a huller or in food production is advantageous.
