Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Execute masonry tasks such as bricklaying, stonework, and concrete work.
• Inspect structures for quality, making repairs as necessary.
• Properly mix and handle construction materials like mortar and grout.
• Utilize and maintain masonry equipment and tools.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and supervisors for project efficiency.
• Document project progress and complete necessary paperwork.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in masonry highly preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Technical Skills

• Use of masonry tools and equipment
• Material preparation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Time management

Certifications

• OSHA safety certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional training in advanced masonry techniques: Experience with specialized masonry techniques (e.g., arching or corbeling) is a plus.
