Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hand Cutter to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and strong experience with various materials, ensuring the highest quality in our clothing and accessories.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for cutting and ensure accuracy in measurements.
• Utilize hand tools and measuring equipment to achieve precise cuts.
• Assist in the development of production schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cutting issues that may arise during production.
• Work with designers to ensure materials match specifications.
• Document any changes or discrepancies in material usage.
• Provide feedback on tools and processes to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in materials manufacturing is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Hand Cutter or in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Manual dexterity
• Blueprint interpretation
• Material knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Time management
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in materials manufacturing: Prior experience in a similar manufacturing role is beneficial.
• Ability to operate cutting machinery: Familiarity with powered cutting tools is a plus.
