DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Chicago team. You will be responsible for implementing and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring system stability and efficiency. Ideal candidates will have experience with cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for software deployment.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Utilize cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Collaborate with development team to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in the deployment of applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or related.

Technical Skills

• Git
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
