Join us as a Home Weatherizing Worker and play a crucial role in energy efficiency projects. The ideal candidate will be involved in hands-on weatherization tasks, contributing to both environmental responsibility and homeowner satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough energy assessments to identify inefficiencies.
• Installing various insulation and sealing materials with precision.
• Carrying out minor repairs on windows and doors to enhance efficiency.
• Performing ductwork insulation as needed.
• Instructing homeowners on best practices for energy conservation.
• Maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety practices.
• Keeping meticulous records of all installations and repairs.
• Coordinating with project managers and other tradespeople on job sites.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of weatherization techniques
• Hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• Weatherization certification
• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with blower door and duct blaster testing: Hands-on experience with energy testing equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with residential HVAC systems: Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems is beneficial.
