Job Description

As an Occupational Health and Safety Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations on construction sites. You'll provide expert advice, conduct inspections, and develop comprehensive safety programs to minimize risks and enhance safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate construction sites to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate safety orientation programs for new employees.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of safety initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain safety documentation and compliance records.
  • Engage in proactive communication with the Safety Manager regarding safety concerns.
  • Conduct audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness planning and drills.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction safety
