Job Description

As a Self-Enrichment Teacher, you will provide guidance and support to parents in navigating the complexities of child-rearing. Your expertise in child development will help families thrive, promoting healthy relationships and positive outcomes for children.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching and support to parents on topics such as behavior management and positive discipline.
• Lead group workshops for parents on a variety of topics related to child-rearing.
• Conduct home visits to assess family needs and provide targeted support.
• Create and maintain individualized family service plans.
• Work collaboratively with specialists to ensure comprehensive family support.
• Facilitate discussions on child development theories and best practices.
• Promote cultural sensitivity and competence in all interactions.
• Engage in outreach activities to connect with families in the community.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and suggest improvements.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in counseling or family support services
