Job Description

We are seeking a Rod Buster Helper to assist skilled Rod Busters in the construction industry. The role involves handling and positioning steel bars and mesh in concrete molds, crucial for the stability and strength of concrete structures.

Responsibilities

• Aid in setting up and dismantling work areas for concrete placement.
• Perform basic measurements and calculations for material placement.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in reinforcing concrete with the correct positioning of steel.
• Support the identification and resolution of issues on site.
• Ensure work area remains organized and hazard-free.
• Assist in training new team members on safety practices and job duties.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• No experience required, but relevant construction experience is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Knowledge of hand and power tools

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Teamwork

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification
• First Aid/CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
