Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Construction Manager to direct and oversee our railroad infrastructure projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, and project teams to ensure successful outcomes that meet client expectations.
Responsibilities
Direct construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure design specifications are followed.
Monitor construction processes to maintain quality control.
Lead and mentor junior construction managers and team members.
Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution on-site.
Ensure materials and equipment are procured on schedule.
Maintain an organized filing system for all project documentation.
Review contractor invoices and approve for payment.
Participate in contract negotiations and prepare project contracts.
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
Master's degree is preferred
Experience
10+ years of experience in railroad construction management
