Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Construction Manager to direct and oversee our railroad infrastructure projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, and project teams to ensure successful outcomes that meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure design specifications are followed.
  • Monitor construction processes to maintain quality control.
  • Lead and mentor junior construction managers and team members.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution on-site.
  • Ensure materials and equipment are procured on schedule.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all project documentation.
  • Review contractor invoices and approve for payment.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and prepare project contracts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in railroad construction management
