Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Examiner responsible for performing autopsies and determining the cause of death in cases that require further investigation. You will work closely with forensic specialists and law enforcement agencies to provide crucial evidence in criminal investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations by performing autopsies and assisting law enforcement.
• Prepare presentations for trial and communicate effectively in court.
• Facilitate communication with families regarding sensitive information.
• Review and update forensic protocols and practices consistently.
• Engage in collaborative research projects.

Requirements

Education

• MD or DO with a focus on forensic pathology
• Completion of a forensic pathology fellowship preferred

Experience

• Experience in medicolegal death investigation is highly desirable
