Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Feeders and Offbearers to join our Waste Management division. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating waste choppers and other machinery to ensure the safe and efficient processing of various waste materials. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of operational safety protocols and a drive for excellence in waste management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate waste processing equipment.
  • Sort and manage different types of waste materials.
  • Perform machinery routine checks and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Work within a team to improve operational processes.
  • Train and mentor new staff on proper equipment handling.
  • Provide feedback on equipment performance and safety issues.
  • Participate in regular safety drills and workshops.
  • Assist in the development of waste reduction strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant certifications in waste management or machinery operation are a plus
Experience
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred.
