As a Primer Boxer, you will play a vital role in preparing surfaces and applying primer coatings within our automotive manufacturing facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure products meet our high standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for primer application.
• Apply primer coatings with precision to ensure quality results.
• Check and enforce adherence to quality control standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace and tools.
• Implement safety measures to promote a secure working atmosphere.
• Team up with colleagues to meet production schedules and commitments.
• Document and communicate any operational challenges encountered.
• Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of application equipment.
• Track and record primer material usage for inventory control.
• Engage in ongoing skill development to enhance job performance.

Advantageous

• Advanced knowledge of paint mixing and color matching: Skills in mixing paints to achieve specific colors.
• Ability to perform minor repairs on painted surfaces: Experience in touch-ups and repairs post-application.
