Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Frame Builder responsible for constructing robust frames for various applications, including buildings and furniture. The ideal candidate will ensure that all frameworks are safe, compliant with industry standards, and built to last.

Responsibilities

• Construct frames for various structures based on simple or complex designs.
• Ensure that all constructions comply with safety regulations.
• Perform quality checks on materials and work completed.
• Assist in project planning and material estimation.
• Train apprentices or junior workers in proper fabrication techniques.
• Prepare reports on project progress for management.
• Work independently as well as within a team to achieve project goals.
• Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines on various projects.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in welding or carpentry is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or metal fabrication.

Technical Skills

• Metal Fabrication
• Furniture Making

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
• First Aid/CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to work independently: Experience working independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of safety regulations: Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in construction and manufacturing.
