Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles. The right candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality screen prints for various applications. This role demands proficiency in relevant software platforms and tools, along with an eye for detail and a passion for the printing industry. You'll be working closely with designers and production teams to ensure precision and creativity in all projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and create screens for a variety of print jobs.
• Prepare ink mixtures based on order specifications.
• Collaborate with designers for artwork accuracy.
• Monitor printing equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Ensure quality control during each stage of printing.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of supplies.
• Identify and resolve any production-related issues quickly.
• Assist in training new team members on equipment and processes.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certifications in printing preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in screen making or a similar role

Technical Skills

• Screen printing equipment operation
• Ink mixing and preparation

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent
