Job Description

As a Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be essential in the production process, responsible for setting up and operating cutting and slicing machinery. Your role will ensure that raw materials or products are accurately processed to meet specifications, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of production.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate slicing machines to achieve production goals.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control and safety standards.
  • Log production outputs and any operational issues during shifts.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production.
  • Collaborate closely with quality assurance teams on product specifications.
  • Assist in resolving malfunctions or operational issues promptly.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition and report necessary repairs.
  • Prepare reports on daily operations for management review.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials.
  • Assist with inventory management related to machine supplies.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification in manufacturing practices is an asset
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
