Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lineman to join our team. As a Lineman, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical power systems, ensuring safe and reliable delivery of electricity to customers. Your expertise will be crucial in installing and troubleshooting overhead and underground power lines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections on power lines and infrastructure to ensure functionality.
  • Provide recommendations for upgrades and repairs based on findings.
  • Work closely with other linemen and technical staff to complete projects efficiently.
  • Utilize various testing equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose faults.
  • Participate in safety training and practice continuous learning in line work.
  • Document all work performed in compliance with company procedures.
  • Assist in training junior linemen and apprentices as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program in lineman work or relevant certification
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Lineman in the electrical power distribution industry.
