Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to enhance our cybersecurity posture in Washington, D.C. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital infrastructure, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents to determine root causes and responses.
• Enhance security logging and monitoring to identify potential threats.
• Review and update security policies to reflect changes in regulations or technologies.
• Conduct penetration testing to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in cybersecurity operations
