Job Description

As an Insurance Claims and Policy Processing Clerk, you'll play a critical role in managing the lifecycle of insurance policies and claims. Your attention to detail and customer service skills will directly impact client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process all incoming policy applications.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and insurance agents.
  • Analyze claims and support the claims management process.
  • Utilize software systems to maintain accurate records.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Help to prepare for audits by ensuring all records are complete.
  • Assist in training new team members on policy processing.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to improve workflow.
  • Monitor and address discrepancies in client billing.
  • Assist in creating informative materials for clients regarding their policies.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration preferred
Experience
  • Prior experience in insurance administration or a related field is preferred
