Job Description

As a Legislator, you will represent the interests of your constituents, engaging with community members and developing policies that foster growth and progress within the city. Strong communication skills and a passion for public service are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive community engagement by attending local events and meetings.
• Work with municipal officials to draft and advocate for new legislation.
• Analyze community needs and propose strategic solutions.
• Oversee the effective allocation of district resources.
• Foster partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
• Provide regular updates to the media regarding legislative activities.
• Continuously assess community feedback to enhance services.
• Lead initiatives to improve public services and infrastructure.
• Participate in training and leadership development opportunities.
• Ensure transparency in governance through public reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in public service or local government

Certifications

• Certified Public Manager (CPM)

Languages
