Job Description

As a Sander Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process by operating and maintaining sanding machinery to prepare surfaces for finishing. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate sanding machinery according to specifications.
  • Perform regular quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Report any machinery malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss production schedules and challenges.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels of sanding materials and equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the sanding process.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new employees on best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure timely product delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience with automated sanding machinery is preferred.
