Job Description

As a Day Camp Counselor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for children at our summer camp. Your responsibilities will include planning activities, supervising campers, and facilitating a positive atmosphere. This position is ideal for those who love working with children and are passionate about outdoor education.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate sport and arts & crafts programs.
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary and follow emergency protocols.
• Foster inclusivity by recognizing and addressing the needs of all campers.
• Engage in team-building exercises to strengthen counselor-camper relationships.
• Assist in recruitment and training for volunteer staff and interns.
• Evaluate camper participation and collect feedback for future programs.
• Serve as a role model for campers, embodying the values of teamwork and respect.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• No previous experience required. Experience working with children is a plus.
