Job Description

As a Signal and Track Switch Repairer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of railway operations. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing railroad signal systems, including switches and track circuits. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics on faulty signal equipment and implement repairs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards for signal system operations.
• Support the installation of new signal technologies and upgrades.
• Lead projects for replacing outdated systems with modern solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of railroad signal system experience

Certifications

• Federal Railroad Administration Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Positive Train Control (PTC) systems: Additional understanding of how PTC impacts signal systems.
